The role could include the following, but roles can be tailored for experience and specialisms:
- Undertake and support other staff with preparing year-end accounts for a wide range of companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Undertake and assist other staff with the preparation of management accounts.
- Be a key part of audit teams undertaking assignments, ensuring each is undertaken in accordance with the pre-assignment instructions.
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for small clients.
- Prepare personal tax returns for small clients.
- Manage the VAT process for your clients.
- Carry out all aspects of work undertaken efficiently, thoroughly and in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
- Manage a portfolio of clients.
- Deliver information to the client promptly and within budget.
- Manage client communication effectively.
- Identify where there are shortfalls of work to cover chargeability and alert Managers.
- Communicate to management progress on workload and plan for efficient completion.
- Carry out other tasks that may be assigned to you to support the firm and your colleagues.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills

To meet our eligibility criteria, you will need:
- Have sufficient practice-based audit and/or accounts experience
- Be part-qualified ACCA/ACA
