Overview of position: We are looking to recruit in our Haverfordwest office and are keen to hear from people with excellent academic results. Focusing on accounting and tax services you will also assist in developing digital accounting solutions for our clients to manage their Making Tax Digital [MTD] requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- A ‘hands on’ accounting role, reporting to manager
- Preparation of accounts and tax computations for manager review
- Preparation of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Bookkeeping on QuickBooks, Sage and Xero.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of IRIS, MS Office 365, Quick Books, Sage and Xero together with integrated point of sale platforms.
- Provide digital training and support to clients if required
- Help efficiently integrate client’s digital accounting systems into our accounts production system and MTD
- Addressing any queries with a client that arise during the preparation of their bookkeeping
- Maintenance of client records
- Carry out ad hoc technical projects and administrative support as required
- Supporting other team members with technical work when required
Minimum education requirement
- Min 3 B’s at A Level
- 2:2 degree

Job Type:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexi time by agreement
25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
