All of us at Bevan Buckland are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Alison Vickers.
Alison dedicated over 40 years to the Firm, joining as a trainee and progressing to become Managing Partner. During her leadership, she guided the Firm through a period of significant growth, with the business doubling in size, a testament to her vision, determination, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Alison made an exceptional contribution to Bevan Buckland and was widely respected for her professionalism, leadership, and dedication to both colleagues and clients. She instilled in all of us a strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service, which will remain a central part of her lasting legacy.
Although Alison had recently taken the decision to retire due to ill health, she remained actively involved in the Firm until recent weeks, a reflection of her resilience and deep commitment to the people and the business she cared so much about.
Alison was an inspirational leader and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.
Our thoughts are with Rob, Matthew and Alison’s family at this very sad and difficult time.
Details of the funeral will be shared once arrangements have been confirmed by the family. In the meantime, any messages or cards may be sent to the Firm’s office, or alternatively, if you would like to share a message of condolence or a memory of Alison, please do so by clicking here
