We are pleased to share that three senior members of our Audit team, Johnathan Dight, Michael Williams, and Andrew Silk, have recently been awarded Responsible Individual (RI) status.
This achievement marks an important milestone for each of them and for Bevan Buckland as a firm, reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality audit services and strengthening our leadership capabilities.
Johnathan Dight
Johnathan joined Bevan Buckland in 2006 as a part-qualified trainee and has progressed through a series of roles to his current position as Associate Director.

Johnathan supports a wide range of SME clients, with expertise in group structures, charities, and not-for-profit organisations. He is known for building strong client relationships and offering practical, insightful advice on SME-related matters.
Michael Williams
Michael joined Bevan Buckland in 2010 and is a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience in auditing and supporting commercial clients. Over the past decade, he has worked within our specialist audit team, advising clients on auditing.
Michael has extensive experience supporting medium and large commercial clients, undertaking audit work and preparing consolidated accounts. His clients in this sector have included large transport and manufacturing groups. Michael also brings significant expertise in preparing consolidated accounts and has extensive experience supporting registered social landlords, particularly those with trading subsidiaries. His dual qualifications as ACCA and FCCA underscore his professional expertise and commitment.
Andrew Silk
Andrew also joined Bevan Buckland in 2010 and is a chartered accountant with over 13 years of experience across audit, corporate finance, forecasting, and M&A. He works with a diverse range of clients, including charities, housing associations, and SMEs, and supports ABTA and ATOL-registered businesses with accreditation and compliance. Andrew’s technical knowledge and strategic insight make him a key contributor to our audit leadership.
A Milestone for the Firm
Reflecting on this achievement, Alison Vickers, Managing Partner, shared her thoughts:
“I am absolutely delighted that three of our team members have successfully achieved their Audit RI status. They join Llinos, who already holds this status, in forming a strong team of expertise within our firm. This milestone is a testament not only to their dedication to excellence, compliance, and professional growth but also reinforces Bevan Buckland’s commitment to delivering an exceptional service and supporting our growth ambitions. Congratulations to each of them on achieving this status. It is a very proud moment for our team.”
Llinos Williams, Head of Audit Quality, also shared her thoughts on the team’s latest achievements:
“I’m pleased to see Johnathan, Michael, and Andrew awarded RI status. It’s a well-earned recognition of their technical capability, judgement, and commitment to audit quality. As our RI team expands, we’re strengthening our ability to deliver audits that are not only compliant but also add real value to our clients. Managing the audit team day-to-day and overseeing quality across our work, I know first-hand the positive impact this will have on our service delivery and leadership capacity.”
The Importance of Gaining RI Status
Gaining RI status is a significant professional achievement, demonstrating that Llinos, Johnathan, Michael, and Andrew meet the high standards required to take responsibility for signing audit reports. This not only reflects their personal dedication and development but also increases the depth and strength of our audit team.
At Bevan Buckland, we’re proud to see our team members grow and take on leadership responsibilities that benefit both our clients and the firm. With Andrew, Johnathan, and Michael now part of our RI team, we are even better placed to deliver a comprehensive and robust audit service to the organisations we support.
